Legal advice at the intersection of law, culture and sustainable development

The combination of German and French education, along with international practical experience, gives my work a unique perspective: precise, strategic, and cross-border. My specialization in heritage and environmental law enables me to legally protect and preserve significant cultural assets and natural resources for the long term.

Vita

My degrees in advanced legal studies in Germany and France, specialize me in civil, corporate, and administrative law. As a Doctor of Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France, and the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer, Germany, I possess comprehensive expertise in both French and German legal systems, as well as a strong background in international and European law.
I focus my work on sustainable development as a crucial driver for environmental and cultural preservation. I am not only holding a university degree in the management and administration of historical monuments, but am also well-acquainted with the challenges faced by managers of cultural heritage sites.
My experience enable me to employ a cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary approach, which is integral for advising successfully on national and international projects relating to cultural heritage and environmental matters. It also supports the practical structuring and implementation of legal requirements within these contexts.

International law firms
I worked at international law firms, gaining experience in contract law, company law, tax law, and litigation. In these roles, I broadened my knowledge to manage complex cases with attention to detail within short deadlines and appropriate communication.
In-house counsel for an international organisation
In Paris, I was responsible for managing transnational legal projects within an international organisation. This experience enabled me to develop a deeper strategic approach and a strong understanding of institutional, regulatory and governance issues.
Teaching assignments and colloquiums
For me, research always goes hand in hand with exchange and knowledge transfer. I have already been able to do this through teaching assignments, training courses and colloquiums. I organised some of these colloquiums and supervised their publications.
Language and intercultural skills
I speak fluent French, German and English and feel at home in multicultural and international environments. Thanks to my language skills and my international skills, I can efficiently handle cross-border cases and facilitate dialogue between actors with different legal cultures.
Approach & method
My methodology is defined by two key dimensions: the legal accuracy acquired through education at leading universities, and the implementational expertise developed through experience both as a solicitor in a law firm and as in-house counsel for an organisation.
I advocate for an legal approach that extends beyond mere compliance, proactively identifying risks, structuring initiatives, and generating value. This perspective integrates regulatory requirements, economic considerations, and strategic objectives to deliver effective legal solutions.
